The Dwarves have an unquenchable obsession for rare materials, and possess a forging ability that surpasses the High Elves. Their short height but strong body makes them extremely resilient with the heat in volcano craters, where the world's largest forges exist. Their metallurgy and forging, armoring, and gem processing had reached the level of masters. The forces armed with the products of the Dwarves are often the most powerful on the continent, of which the Flaming Legion is one. Spears that pierced dragon scales, shields that block out monsters’ firebreath, or crowns on the heads of kings, all are Dwarves' creations.

During the war, the miners deep inside the Burning Gate also join the fight as elite heavy infantry. In particular, the famous Dwarven Forge Masters with the ability to both fight and forge right on the battlefield symbolizing the ingenuity of the dwarven warriors. Not many creatures can survive the blow from the hammers.
